The Green Party celebrated their first ever East Sussex County Councillors elected in May 2021, now forming an active group of four. Georgia Taylor won Forest Row and Groombridge, Lewes District councillor Johnny Dennis took Ringmer and Lewes Bridge, Julia Hilton was elected to Old Hastings and Tressell, while Wendy Maples was returned for Lewes.
Zoe Nicholson just missed out in Chailey by a mere 47 votes.
Meanwhile Greens are campaigning to build on their county council success in the 2023 District and Town council elections.
