Action on Litter and Dog Poo on Love Lane and Juggs Road

Councillor Wendy Maples on bin installation

Work has been completed to install four bins in the Love Lane and Juggs Road area and are a mix of dog-poo and all-purpose bins. Two of the bins are permanent additions and two other bins will be tested to see if they attract fly-tipping (which has been a problem in the past) or if they are used appropriately. If they are used appropriately, then they will also become permanent. Wendy says: "I’m grateful to the staff at District Council who have listened and will be maintaining the bins and I look forward to a tidier, cleaner Love Lane and Juggs Road".

Good news too for the Nevill; the notorious 'bottomless bin' on the Green has been replaced after multiple reports by residents and local Green Councillors.
