Paul Keene is selected as the Parliamentary Candidate for Lewes Constituency

Paul Keene has been selected as the Parliamentary Candidate for Lewes by Lewes Green Party Members for the next General Election.

Paul is a Lewes District Councillor who lives with his wife and young daughter in Newhaven. He is currently the Chair of the Southern Water Scrutiny Panel, Deputy Chair of the Planning Committee, and a member of the Sussex Police and Crime Panel.

Paul says, ‘I am standing as the Parliamentary Candidate for Lewes Constituency as I believe that as a representative of the Green Party, and in the context of the continual failure and chronic disappointment perpetually offered as more of the same by the three main parties, we are best placed to work together with our community to derive and build the solutions for our community we all know we so desperately need.

Our politics is broken. We trust you will use your vote wisely in order to get a change of government, so that unlike under the current Conservative administration, policies addressing the climate crisis have a chance of being introduced, along with changes to our economy, to our governance, and to how we live, not only for a select group of people, but for all of us, as we all desire and deserve, and really, as we all need to thrive.’
